The newest feature that the 2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Grand Touring car has that makes everybody talk about this vehicle is the Kinematic Posture Control, which, based on human-centric driving, is said to reduce body rolls during quick turns and fast driving. The KPC is an inside rear-wheel-braking system.
The Mazda MX-5 Miata RF GT now comes in a Terracotta Napa colour or a white leather trim option for the interior, while the exterior offers you the new Platinum Quartz Metallic finish and dark blue roof. And, as a solution to bring sales up, the production of the slower 1.5-litre base engine was discontinued.
To deliver an exciting experience on the road, the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF GT is packed with 181 horsepower @ 7,000 rpm and 151 lb-ft torque @ 4,000 rpm.
Exterior and Interior
Thanks to Android Auto, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has a great infotainment system to access your phone, music and messages. The wireless connectivity is sponsored by Apple CarPlay, allowing you to play music from your iPhone and use other interesting apps, such as Apple Maps and Siri.
Standard exterior features include automatic headlight levelling, rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers, a high-beam-control system, a rear-window defroster and a green-tinted UV windshield.
Thanks to a collaboration with Bose, Mazda MX-5 Miata drivers will benefit from a custom-installed sound system with such features as headrest speakers and subwoofer.
Technology and Safety features
All models come with an advanced SkyActive engine, and, aside from the advanced blind-spot monitoring, you have a rearview mirror, Smart City brake support front and rear-cross traffic alert. This car has a seatbelt warning and airbags in the front and the back for added safety.
