This year, Mazda announced that not only would it be throwing its hat in the EV ring, but it has created a vehicle that is sure to dominate the segment. Here is what we know about the upcoming Mazda MX-30.

Performance Features

The MX-30 is powered with a 35.5-kWh-hour battery that will be able to deliver 144 horsepower and 200 lb.-ft of torque. The MX-30 will only be available in front-wheel drive; however, it is expected to have impressive acceleration times. When plugged into a Level 2 or DC fast-charging station, the battery is expected to achieve an 80% charge in just 36 minutes.

The Mazda MX-30 is a stunning SUV that features an elegant interior and exterior design. The compact body is outlined in dramatic curves that help to give it a rounded and aerodynamic appearance. The low roofline and rear-hinged back doors give this sporty crossover a more athletic appearance.

On the inside, the MX-30 continues to prove that it is dedicated to preserving the planet. The cabin is adorned with sustainable materials including recycled fabric, cork, recycled plastic bottles, and other reusable materials.

In addition to being environmentally friendly, the interior is also stylish and comfortable. Just behind the console, there is a large digital screen that is used to control the vehicle's climate control and other systems.
