It's not hard to see why the Mazda Cx-5 is considered one of the most luxurious crossovers in its class. The vehicle outlines the sculpted lines that help to give it an elegant appearance. Once you get inside the vehicle, you instantly become emersed in luxury and comfort. And the Grand Touring trim takes luxury and comfort to a whole new level. Here is a look at some of the new and exciting features that you can find on the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring.

What's New on the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring?

This year, the Mazda CX-5 adds several new upgrades that help to make the interior more luxurious. For example, the Grand Touring now comes standard with a power sunroof that features the One-Touch-Open feature. There is also a set of paddle shifters on the steering wheel to give you a powerful and controlled driving experience. And finally, the Grand Touring's interior adds a new 7-inch LCD digital instrument cluster that is fully customizable.

On the exterior, the Grand Touring adds an adaptive lighting system as well as LED fog lights and taillights. To help ensure that the cold weather does not obstruct your ability to see behind the vehicle, the Grand Touring also comes with heated side mirrors.

The Grand Touring also adds three new exterior colour options. In addition to the four colours that were offered previously, the Grand Touring now offers Sonic Silver Metallic, Deep Crystal Blue, and Machine Grey.

Other trim levels also receive a few new updates. The interior now features a new 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

There is also an available high-definition 360-degree reverse camera that allows you to clearly see every angle of the vehicle's exterior. The CX-5 also offers an available rear-mounted emergency braking system and a driver attention alert system.

Grand Touring Standard Features

In addition to the new features that are offered on the Grand Touring model, there are also several fan-favourite features that are returning in 2021.

The Grand Touring comes standard with a Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre Dynamic Pressure Turbo engine. This powerful engine is able to deliver up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft of torque.

Inside of the Grand Touring, drivers will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as heated front seats. The exterior features stylish 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a silver finish.
